Funds: How do I sell and withdraw my investment?

  1. Premier Miton funds – direct investment
    If you are invested in a Premier Miton fund (with a Premier Miton prefix) directly with us, you will have an account with an 8 digit account number, starting with a 6 or 8 e.g. 6002 3456. In order to submit a withdrawal request for this investment you can contact us by phone, 0333 456 6363,  or alternatively you can submit a signed written instruction/use the withdrawal form/Form of Renunciation to the below address:

    Please include the following on the written instruction:

    • Account number/Investor Reference Number
    • Exact amount to withdraw in cash or shares (specify fund(s) in the case you hold multiple funds) – please state 100% if you wish to redeem the whole fund
    • Name, address, signature & date
    • Preferred payment method

    The proceeds of the sale will be paid according to the fund specific settlement date, with cheque payment being the default option. To have the proceeds paid direct to your bank account, please note the account number and sort code on the instruction. You will also need to enclose one of the following as evidence that the account is in your name:

    • Bank statement (refer to notes below)
    • Void cheque
    • Paying-in slip

    If you place a trade by phone, a contract note will be issued to you by post outlining the transaction details. Please note that we cannot issue the payment for the trade until the renunciation form is completed and returned.

    If you are providing a bank statement as evidence that the account is in your name, the following can be accepted:

    •A printed bank statement on your bank’s headed paper dated within the last 12 months, showing the account number, and the name and address of the account holder.
    •An internet bank statement dated within the last 12 months, showing the account number and the name of the account holder. This must be stamped and certified by your bank to confirm that the document is authentic.
    •A screen print of an internet bank website dated within the last 12 months, showing the account number and the name of the account holder. This must be stamped and certified by your bank to confirm that the document is authentic.
    •Any other printed correspondence on your bank’s headed paper dated within the last 12 months, confirming the account number and the name and address of the account holder. (E.g. account opening documents, annual certificate of deducted tax etc.
